Summary

XWN Annual Workshop Co-Hosted by Save Our Bosque Task Force

Description

April 4th-5th, 2018

Join Cross-Watershed Network (XWN) and Save Our Bosque Task Force in Socorro County, NM for the 5th Annual XWN Workshop

XWN is a peer-to-peer learning network made up of watershed practitioners (like you!) working in the arid West who see the value in sharing lessons and building cross-boundary connections with peers working in other watersheds.  Save Our Bosque Task Force has been working to restore the Rio Grande Bosque since 1994, making them the perfect hosts for this year's practitioner-driven workshop.

On April 4th and 5th, join us in New Mexico to exchange lessons with your colleagues on a variety of technical and programmatic watershed management topics.

This year's topics include:

  • invasive species management

  • creating sustainable partnerships

  • fire and upland fire recovery

  • community engagement

  • planning for future conditions

  • collaborative fundraising

  • many more...
