A site visit to explore riverfront projects in communities along the Colorado River.
Selected sites will be visited between Silt and De Beque, CO.

Join us on June 21st for a field visit to sites along the Colorado River between Silt and Debeque!

Please note that your $15 registration fee helps to cover lunch costs and group transportation between field sites. We hope to see you there!

Silt Preserve

     Dave Erickson, Stewardship Director for the Aspen Valley Land Trust, to talk about past, present, future restoration efforts at the Silt Preserve

     Tom Fresques, Fisheries Biologist with BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office, on restoration and recreation on public lands along the Middle Colorado River

     Shannon Hatch, Desert River Collaborative  (DRC), to talk about DRC activities in Grand Valley

Town of De Beque Riverfront Recreation Site

     Lance Stewart, Town Administrator,  to talk about habitat restoration and recreation access in De Beque

     Laurie Rink, MCWC, to introduce Integrated Water Management Planning process

Debrief on bus ride back to Silt
